Refrigerator

Laboratory refrigerators are refrigerators with special features and options that are optimized for use in the laboratory, unlike simpler models for household, catering or similar. Together with laboratory freezers, laboratory refrigerators are part of the basic equipment of most laboratories. The primary function of a laboratory refrigerator is to maintain a defined internal storage temperature (arbitrarily adjustable from 1 °C to 15 °C) to safely store and protect temperature-sensitive products, samples, chemicals, medications and other substances. Laboratory refrigerators are available in a range of capacities and dimensions and are usually supplied complete with one or more shelves, compartments and/or drawers, which are often adjustable in height or can be reconfigured to meet the user’s requirements.
