Protective gloves are used in everyday laboratory work in biotechnological laboratories, in chemical laboratories, in the medical sector and for other purposes. They protect, for example, against external influences such as chemicals and pathogens, during sterile work or provide protection for the wearer and the patient when used properly in the medical sector. Latex, nitrile and vinyl: these are the three main materials used in the production of disposable gloves or protective gloves. Each of these has its advantages and disadvantages and is therefore better or worse suited to certain areas of application, which should be taken into account accordingly when considering gloves before use. The gloves are offered in different sizes, often in different colors, sterile / non-sterile, as well as powdered / non-powdered.
