Release notes LabFinder.ch

Vacancies can be published in the newly added LabFinder JOBS section.
This allows employers to reach a large audience that is specifically focused on their industry.
Publication is free of charge for registered providers on LabFinder and is part of the service package.

LabFinder.ch, the Swiss platform for laboratory supplies, successfully participated in the Ilmac exhibition held in Basel, showcasing its platform’s capabilities and strengthening its presence within the laboratory industry.

During the exhibition, LabFinder.ch representatives met with numerous suppliers, highlighting the platform’s benefits, user-friendly interface, comprehensive search functionality, and commitment to providing a secure and reliable environment for conducting business.

• The new function “Health check” as part of the Supplier Account supports suppliers in optimally setting up their profile and their offers.
  The health check shows whether important entries are available or should still be entered in order to present oneself optimally on LabFinder and thus be recognised by potential customers and contacted regarding their offers.

• The Supplier Account is an important part of the registration on LabFinder.
  Each supplier receives his own password-protected supplier account on LabFinder. Here he can view his profile and independently adjust his information and offers at any time. Contact information, company description, product and brand portfolio as well as products in the LabFinder Shop can be set up or adapted in no time at all.
  Customer enquiries can be viewed in detail and the LabFinder monitoring function shows how often you have been displayed as a supplier and thus recognised by potential customers.

We have expanded the Supplier Account again and made it even more user-friendly. In addition to the dashboard, all other functions can be accessed via the menu. Contact us if you would like to find out more.

• At our booth at ILMAC Lausanne, we were able to inform a large number of visitors about LabFinder. The feedback was excellent and our expectations were even exceeded.
  In addition, through interesting discussions, we recorded some wishes, which we will incorporate in the development of further functions.
  The number of suppliers on LabFinder will also continue to grow as a result of ILMAC Lausanne.

• Suppliers can see their available LabFinder Shop product balance under Credit in their supplier account.
  As long as the credit is >0, additional products can be entered in the LabFinder Shop.
  The credit can be topped up at any time so that further products can be entered.

• The display screen of the product and brand pages has been fundamentally optimized and now shows a clear listing of suitable suppliers in addition to a product description and the shop products.
  The inquiry form, with which users can directly send an inquiry to one or more providers, appears as a pop-up as soon as you select “Start request to supplier” via the button.
• The supplier information page, which you can access by selecting the displayed providers, has also been optimized in terms of structure and the information displayed.

• Products from the shop are now directly displayed or suggested to you. By selecting the products, you will be forwarded directly to the corresponding content in the LabFinder Shop.
• LabFinder always shows you products that match the corresponding product categories, brands or suppliers.
  If there is no suitable offer in the shop, we present you a free selection of available products from the shop.

• For a large number of the products, a description was entered, which is displayed in all three languages. These product descriptions are interesting and informative for the user. In addition, they have the purpose of displaying LabFinder better and even more frequently in Google searches.

Suppliers can see in their profile how often they have been shown to users.

• NEW is also recognised if a SHOP product was displayed to a user.
  The more products are entered around SHOP, the more the suppliers is recognised or displayed by potential customers.

• The monitoring display is now optimised for viewing as a graphic.

• SEO Optimization of LabFinder.ch

• Banners in the product categories and brands can now be booked not only by duration, but also by number of ads.

• Booked banners incl. details and evaluation can be viewed in the profile account.
  (excl. banner on the homepage)

• Optimized filter function and improved display of products in the LabFinder SHOP.

• The user manual v.1.1 has been supplemented with the instructions for the LabFinder SHOP and the improved Supplier Account Dashboard.
  The user manual is available under the heading “Help” in German, English and French.

• You can now pay your LabFinder annual fee and advertising options quickly and easily with your credit card.
  
  A bank transfer is of course still possible as well.

• New search field in LabFinder SHOP.
  The new search field allows you to find shop products using search terms that appear somewhere in the product name or description.
  

• Introduction of LabFinder SHOP.
  The LabFinder SHOP displays product and offer information of the individual suppliers in detail and simultaneously offers the possibility of a direct offer request.Product offers can be entered and managed by the suppliers independently via the profile account.

• Improved Supplier Account Dashboard with better overview and management capabilities of their supplier profile.

• Customer requests are distributed to the individual providers in an even better form. With direct access to the own profile and a detailed overview.

• We now inform you with an information box about important news and information. This information box appears during login and can be confirmed or skipped. If you skip the information, it will be displayed again during the next login.

• In order to be able to better support laboratories and suppliers in the clinical / diagnostic area, the following additional product categories have been added to LabFinder accordingly.

• A detailed user guide is now available. It describes the various functions that are available to users and potential customers as well as suppliers on LabFinder.
  The LabFinder user manual in English, German and French.

• As Supplier, in your supplier account under “Webpage clicks”, you can see how often a user used the web icon and was thus redirected directly from LabFinder to your website. This information is displayed per month.
  Start of this function from 2.April 21.

• As Supplier, you can in you supplier account how often you appeared and thus recognized by users as a possible supplier. This information is displayed per month.
  Start of this function from 24.March 21.

• The suppliers can be rated; this function is available to registered users. Each supplier to which a request has been sent can be rated by the user in his user account.
  The ratings are displayed on the information page of the corresponding supplier.
  
  

• Due to the continuously increasing number of laboratory consumables in the product categories, the filter option for Equipment/Instruments and Consumables has been added to the product index.

• Users can register on LabFinder and receive a password-protected user account, in which they can enter their data and view the requests they have already made.
  In the logged-in mode, the contact data is entered directly in the request form.
  Captcha is also eliminated and the requests can be sent even easier.

• Improved provider account.
  Better overview and customization options of the own provider profile.

• Login user name: In addition to the email address, the provider name can now also be used to log in to the supplier profile.
  Email address / supplier name + password.

• Direct link to the individual supplier websites on product categories and brands.
  

• LabFinder.de for the German Market goes online.
  Available in German, English and French.

• Product Categories: If 5 or more activatated supplier are available, then Supplier without activation (possibly suppliers), do not appear anymore.
