Inert gas glove box

A glovebox (also isolator) is a container that is hermetically and gas-tight sealed from the surrounding workspace. A defined atmosphere can be generated inside the glovebox for processing sensitive or hazardous substances. The atmosphere of the glovebox under inert gas atmosphere of inert gas, such as argon, nitrogen or helium. Gas-tight (butyl) glove penetrations allow isolated access to the interior, hence the name “glove box.” Materials are transferred via chambers or airlocks that can be evacuated and via media connections.
